Ethiopia Terra

A series of photos, from a travel notebook, taking us on a trip from  the North to the West, from growing towns to sweeping country side, which introduces us to painters, a syllabic alphabet, acrobats, barefoot pilgrims, possessed women («mou’ atta »), mystics souls, gangs of runaway kids, abandonned train’s carriages…  As many nomadic « wreck », as doors pushed open by night and by day, furtives moments, encountered « characters » drenched in coffee, alcohol or khat…  An illusionary series, where dreams crumble, tales have no tomorrow, filled with music, stammerings, scents, and traces… whatever they may be…
